Lahtle Wood is an off-grid glamping site founded in 2019, tucked away in a beautiful wood in the heart of the
Vale of Pickering. Nestled between the great North Yorkshire Moors and the wonderful Yorkshire Wolds.
All our accommodation have been designed with you in mind offering comfort yet still in-keeping with the wonderful surroundings that we have on offer. Each unit has their own individual “Scrub Shack” bathroom fuelled by a Wood-fired water boiler giving you hot water as warm as the welcome.
We offer a BBQ area outside all lodges for that family alone time, but we also provide a communal BBQ hut, seating 10 people for eating and socialising on rainy days.
Lahtle Wood is a perfect digital detox location, with blue skies instead of blue screens, and birdsong instead of notification alerts, you can replace social media with social interaction. We are fortunate at Lahtle Wood, to be sharing our site with so much wildlife and with minimal lighting, Lahtle Wood is perfect for stargazing and simply taking in the beauty that nature provides us.
Out of respect for the animals living amongst us, we provide wheelbarrows at the car park for you to take your belongings to your accommodation, minimising disruption to the wildlife’s natural habitat.
